Rune stacking.
I am unsure how this works. Would I be able to stack a minor and major, possibly even also a superior rune? Or does it only use the strongest one and replaces the rest? Even if I had the runes on seperate pieces of equipment? Specifically vigor, but other Runes as well. (I know I can only use my Primary profession's runes aside from vigor though)

On seperate pieces of equipment, the effects of any rune will stack, whether they're all different or all the same. However, you can only have the effect of one rune on each piece of equipment. Using a rune on an already enhanced item will replace the effect.

Runes of the same kinda do NOT stack, thus only the highest one takes effect, no matter how many of the same kind you have equipped on different armors.

runes don't stack. at all the highest rune will take effect, so if you have a superior X on 1 piece and a Major X on the 4 others, you will only get a +3 boost, however you wont suffer the health penalty of the other runes.
edit: the exception is the warriors absorbtion rune. that does "stack" in a way, it all depends on where the hits land, an absorbtion rune on your leggins wont affect a hit on your chest. also the knights armor and ascalon armor has a built-in minor absorbtion, that will stack with any other absorbtion rune. For more about the damage reduction from Knight's/Ascalon armour, I'd advise reading the later posts of this thread. |

I'm wondering about Rune stacking as well, but not of the same type of rune.
If you have two superior runes of different types applied to two different pieces of armor, would you lose 150 HP? Or a major and a superior of different types to lose 125 HP? Or even three superior rune to lose 215 HP? What exactly would happen? Thanks PS - Not sure if i got my math right |

Ok, I'm Confused. I have A Minor, And Major Death Magic On My Necro. And Same For My Healer. So ONLY The Major One Is Added On, and Not The Minor One?
Sorry For The Newbie Question! |

Only one rune of any one type (Death Magic) will count. It doesn't matter what strenght (supior, major, or minor). It only counts the highest one.
The Runes DO stack with Hats/masks. If you put a Rune of Supior Expertise on a mask of Expertise you will get a bonus of +4 to Expertise. Max ranks you will ever have for any skill is 16. |
